You’re probably wondering how this Notion page ended up in your eesel. Let me explain!

We’ve just released a new feature called “Follow”. By following your eesel Folders, your teammates can receive new pages that are added to Folders directly in their new tab (or receive them by email if they don’t have eesel):

This is an easy and lightweight way to keep your team in the loop about your work. And if you start following your teammates’ Folders yourself, it’s also a great way to build an activity feed for tracks of work you’re interested in.

For instance, we’ve created a public eesel changelog Folder that we use to list the main changes we release. All eesel users follow this Folder by default and will receive important updates about eesel directly in their new tab, just the way you probably received this one (if you’re not interested you can simply unfollow it).

If you're curious, this doesn't change the fact that eesel runs locally. The eesel changelog updates come with new versions of the eesel extension that your browser will download. So there's no compromise on privacy!

If you want to give it a try on your own Folders, open a Folder, click on “Share”, make sure the link permission is on “Viewer”, and share your Folder link with teammates:

We’re really excited to learn how people will use this feature. Feel free to share any feedback you have by clicking the Intercom button at the bottom right corner of eesel!
